Having been the unwilling subject of countless of my mum's snaps as a child, it wasn't until I travelled the world with my first proper camera over a decade ago that I realised my true place in it was behind the lens.
Through passion, hard work and LOTS of freebies early on, I turned my hobby into a career as a music photographer and picture editor in print media before going freelance in the commercial and portrait fields. My portfolio includes work for Stella Artois, Interrail and Microsoft and has featured in The Guardian, Elle Decoration and DAZED & CONFUSED.
Whilst I do still travel for commercial commissions, the last few years have seen me specialise in wedding and family portraiture in and around Sussex - I blame my partner Gemma for this sentimental streak. It might not be considered as edgy as my old line of work (I'm a dad now - I'm practically edge-less), but it's far easier to get a smile out of a newlywed couple than it was Dizzee Rascal or The Prodigy!
I love what I do and I love meeting new people. The genuine warmth, laughter and human connection I aim to encourage and capture in my images gives me endless satisfaction and enthusiasm for the next shoot. The response from the clients when they see my work is the cherry on top.
